Our bursary program supports a quarter of our 450+ singers, and sponsors are directly responsible for helping us to foster artistry within this vibrant and inclusive community.

INTERCULTURAL WORKSHOPS
A series of workshops and residencies in which professional musicians lead VYC singers, school choral programs, and emerging conductors in the repertoire, history and cultural context, style, and vocal techniques unique to their culture.

A COMPOSER COMMISSION
Foster a life-long appreciation of new art by premiering a new work bringing a composer to collaborate with our singers. These works often go to public distribution via the choir’s two international choral publication series.

OUR INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Support our exceptional young artists with the assistance they need to gain professional skills in music and beyond. Sponsor individual singers with paid internships in arts administration and artistic leadership.

OUR BURSARY PROGRAM
VYC provides support for kids who love to sing but don’t have the financial resources to participate without assistance. Our bursary program currently funds 25% of our over 450 singers, and the need for this program is growing
